Jeff and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary yesterday with a relaxing day at the beach, followed by an evening of cooking dinner together at home. We followed recipes out of Thomas Keller’s The French Laundry Cookbook. We made Sea Bass with Sweet Parsnips, Arrowleaf Spinach, and Saffron-Vanilla Sauce and opened a bottle of red wine we have been storing for 6 years. Then we were in bed by 9:30pm. Seriously.

May Flowers and Bridal Showers

Annalise’s bridal shower was held at her parent’s house in Tustin. She was surrounded by plenty of love, friendship, laughter, beautiful flowers, delicious food and Australian goodies for dessert.
Chelsea’s bridal shower soon followed, which was held at a family friend’s house in San Diego. There were lots of heartfelt tears, hugs, homemade pie, gifts and handmade favors for the guests to take home.

Melissa here. Sorry for not posting for a while, things have been crazy busy here at Lilikoi! We have been printing wedding suites, note cards, and business cards like no other!
Things have also been busy in my academic life: last week I was awarded a scholarship for my design work created for the Loyola Marymount University community. The art department nominated me for the award, and I couldn’t be more excited!
Nevertheless, the weather here in Los Angeles is stunning! I hope you are getting the chance to step outside and enjoy it : )
